Scrubbers

BETH scrubbers cover two related duties: wet cleaning of flue gas, and the reduction of odour and separation of pollutants. Both are engineered around the process that produces the gas rather than supplied from a catalogue, and both are built to hold their performance across the temperature ranges an industrial exhaust actually sees.

BETH offers state-of-the-art flue gas cleaning technology, tailor-made for your combustion process. Efficient flue gas treatment is achieved through a combination of cleaning steps, so the train is assembled to suit the duty: wet scrubbers, hot gas fabric filters, additive systems and cyclones. Together these safely filter dust, aerosols and chemical elements out of the exhaust gas flow.

One of the biggest challenges in recycling and composting processes, as in agricultural operations, is handling the bad odours that occur. We develop intelligent ventilation concepts for the reduction of odour nuisance, and offer several strategies for odour reduction and neutralisation: air curtain systems, scrubbing systems, biofilters, activated carbon filter systems, ionisation systems and separating systems.

Wet scrubbing is delivered in the configuration the gas stream calls for: venturi scrubbers for high-efficiency removal of fine particulates and hazardous gases, impingement plate scrubbers for particulates and mists in high-moisture streams, spray towers for gas cooling and soluble gases, packed beds for high surface-area absorption and neutralisation, and cyclonic wet scrubbers for larger particulates and droplets. Across every configuration the target is the same: sulphur oxides (SOx), nitrogen oxides (NOx), acid gases, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), aerosols, mists and dust.
